Here We Go!

This is my first post! Just a little background info:

• I'm going thru a divorce and completely surviving!
• I live with my two children, Jake 4, Shelby 2, a sooner yard dog named Brownie and a new gold fish named Goldie.
• I have a better understanding of "Lessons Learned" after 5 years.
• I am going to quit smoking on November 13th after 12 years and this is the first attempt! And most definitely will be the last!
• God has given me a wonderful family who's helped me thru everything!
• He has given me wonderful friends who I will cherish forever!
• God has graced me with a light that shines bright and I am so excited to share it!

One of my friends explained I'm shedding layers. My mama sees prayers being answered. Another friend says, yes, you'll do it. Another says, Melissa if you start speaking in tongues, I'm not going to answer my phone!!!! Heehee!

Then, in His time, God speaks and you hear Him:

2 Corinthians 7:1 (NIV)

Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

And I admit:

Years of passing the days and the answers were always right there, with You God, waiting for me to come back. Now laying it all down and wanting to pour it all out! No more hold on, just a little longer, it's not time, why me, I can fix this. Now it's I do, I will, I am, Take it all and Thank you Jesus for saving little ole me!

It's beautiful and earth shattering!
